Professional Engineer:

• Full or part-time positions are available
• Professional Engineering License in Texas (other states are beneficial)
• Entrepreneurial attitude
• RISA 3-D software proficient
• Enercalc software proficient
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD version 2012 minimum
• Expert in Steel, Concrete, and Wood design and analysis for Residential and Commercial Buildings
• Able to perform inspections on roofs
• Forensic Engineering experience is preferred
• Must be able to write accurate and concise reports
• Office is small, must be able to type and do general office tasks to help the team; also must be proficient in Word, Excel, Quickbooks, email, and internet practices
• Regular office hours 7:30-4:30; must be able to work after 5 PM on deadline occasionally
• Must be self-starter with initiative
• Able to accomplish tasks efficiently, on-time, without supervision
• Work is in metropolitan area around I-75 & Mockingbird near SMU
• Dart Rail is accessible
• Continuation of job is contingent upon successful accomplishment of 90 day trial period
• Benefits are available for a full time position

Drafter:

• Must have experience with residential and small commercial structural drafting
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD version 2012 minimum
• Drafter experienced with Structural and Civil Design ONLY (Mechanical & Petroleum need not apply)
• Work to be performed in office
• Some field work is required, candidate should be able to climb ladders
• The ideal candidate can think in 3-D, geometrically in their mind and be able to gather/stack loads for structural computer programs to calculate loads for steel and wood
• Must be able to understand and convert hand-drawn sketches in AutoCAD
• Office is small, must be able to type and do general office tasks to help the team; also must be proficient in Word, Excel, Quickbooks, email, and internet practices
• Regular office hours; must be able to work after 5 PM on deadline occasionally
• Must be self-starter with initiative
• Drafter is able to accomplish tasks efficiently, on-time, without supervision
